Neuro-Stimulative Breathing
Neuro-stimulative breathing, is a technique that regulates the nervous system.

How does regulative breathing exercise actually work? Breathing is governed by the Autonomic Nervous System, as part of the Peripheral Nervous System (PNS), controlling the raspatory system, breathing, amongst many other functions and organs of the body. As it is usual for communication any sort in general to go tow directions, from sender to receiver and back, we can send specific information to the nervous system through our breathing pattern.
When doing intentional breathing exercise, we are able to stimulate the nervous system to specific responses, which then as a result influence how the nervous system will regulate, change the state of the functions it is responsible for, to the desired state we aim for.
The breathing exercise we use, is a type of nasal breathing, which is to ease the heart beat, lower the blood pressure and set the nervous system into a calm state of rest and relaxation.
Over time, with regular practice, this breathing builds resilience to stress, enhances focus, and stabilizes dysregulated states.
As the nervous system is at the core of how we navigate all of life, this downregulation allows better control of your state, supporting balance in stressful situations and aiding overall mental and physical well-being.
Within just 3 to 5 minutes, this practice can lower heart rate and blood pressure, and within 10 to 15 minutes, hormonal responses begin to take place, reducing cortisol and helping to stop dysregulated responses.
This regulated practice is known to improve sleep, focus, and stress resilience by directly stabilizing your body’s physiological state.
